Archive Policy

Qualitative Studies in Childhood Education Journal (QSCE) is committed to ensuring the permanent availability and preservation of submitted publications by means of digital, local, and self-archiving. Because we believe past scientific knowledge will drive future innovation. As such, if content is no longer available from a participating publisher it can make it available as open access.

Digital Archiving

As journals move online and articles are published in digital, rather than physical, formats it’s becoming increasingly important for publishers to take steps to ensure that their articles will always be available to readers, even in the event of a publication being lost or discontinued. The best way to ensure that journal articles will always be accessible to readers is to deposit all published articles into a long-term digital preservation service or archive.

QSCE has electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journals via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).

Local Archiving

QSCE archives all published manuscripts on hardware in the form of Computer Hard Drives and in printed form. QSCE allows authors to save pre-printed, post-printed, and published PDF versions of the PDF as stated in the Deposit Policy and Copyright Notice.

Self Archiving

Authors are permitted to store all versions of their articles in institutional repositories or elsewhere (subject repository) including preprinted manuscripts, manuscripts received by authors, published articles (version of record).
